Under-21s Miss Out On Penalties

The Brisbane Strikers Under-21s have missed out on an automatic Grand Final spot when they were defeated on penalties by Redlands City Devils at Cleveland last night.

The penalty shoot-out was needed after the teams were locked together at 2-2 after ninety minutes of pulsating action.

Strikers coach Darren Sime said this morning that he "could not have been happier" with the performance of his team,and that both goalkeepers in the match had been "superb".
